Plugandwork is a French company that offers a collaborative document management platform designed for seamless integration with existing ecosystems, offering enhanced efficiency, interoperability, security, and simplified self-service features tailored for the real estate, insurance, and banking sectors.

Problem

Plugandwork had build a document management platform that served the needs of numerous French enterprises. In the wake of the AI revolution, they wanted to modernize their platform to leverage Machine Learning and AI to provide additional value to their customers.

The desired outcome was to supercharge their product:

By offering intelligent document management and retrieval.
Improving the interface of the product by adding Natural Language capabilities.
And automating document workflows and business intelligence.

Solution

Our solution was to leverage our popular open-source Ruby framework for building AI-powered applications, and integrating it into the Plugandwork platform.

We worked with the CTO to understand the business processes that their customers were adhering to and advised on ideal use-cases for AI automation.

By integrating AI automation into their platform, we were able to provide an intelligent document management system that automatically categorizes, tags, and retrieves documents based on user queries. AI automation helped improve the platform by allowing to push documents through the workflows in fewer steps and in an automated fashion.

One of Plugandwork's concerns, on behalf of their customers, was an option for complete control over their data. By leveraging our AI framework, we were able to provide a solution that could be deployed on-premise, both for document storage and AI inference, allowing customers to have complete control over their data.

Source Labs has been instrumental in quickly ramping up our AI capabilities and understanding what's possible. By leveraging their open-source AI framework, we were able to quickly integrate AI into our platform and provide more value to our customers. We engaged their team to build a deeper integration into our infrastructure and the outcome had exceeded our expectations.
